The Bagless Vacuum - The Right Choice For Your Home
As an avid golfer, I liken the bagless
vacuum to the metal driver.
Just like there's really no reason to use a driver with a
wood head anymore, there's no reason to use a vacuum cleaner
with a bag either. Unless of course you just like
nostalgia.
The bagless vacuum has changed (revolutionized is too strong
a word) the way we clean our carpets. The benefits over the
older models that have bags are numerous. But that doesn't mean
you should just run out and get the first bagless vac that you
run into. There are still some things you need to look at
before making this major purchase.
It's no secret why these newer models have quickly become so
popular. Anybody who has ever vacuumed a floor knows that
keeping up with the bags is nothing more than a pain in the
rear. With a bag free vacuum, you'll not only save time, you'll
also save money.
For starters, these are so easy to clean. You just pull the
chamber off, dump the dirt in the trash receptacle of your
choice, snap the chamber back on and you're ready to resume
your work.
Compare that to twisting off a bag (where there's a good
chance you'll spill the contents), disposing of it, searching
for a replacement bag (you did have some in the closet I
think), then carefully putting it back on, lining up the tabs
and twisting it in place.
Then there's the cost of new bags, if you can find them.
Your vacuum cleaner probably requires specific bags depending
on the make and model number. Hopefully the store has the ones
you need, or you'll have to go to another store. That's if you
remember exactly which bags you need before you get there.
Otherwise you need to go home and double check before returning
to the store. There is no one size fits all vacuum cleaner
bag.
In other words, with a bagged vacuum you need to remember to
keep a fresh supply on hand, and remember where you put them.
It seems your current bag always becomes full at the most
inopportune times, like right in the middle of your vacuuming
when you forgot to purchase new ones or forgot where you put
them. How inconvenient is it to have to run to the store in the
middle of your chore, only to forget again what type of bag you
need, or to find out the store doesn't have any more?
Consider all this and it's easy to see why the bagless
vacuum has quickly become so popular.
